A few weeks ago I participated in the Insurtech Connect in Miami<\/strong>, and I am still collecting everything I experienced, the new contacts I generated and the opportunities that arose from having participated in the largest insurtech event in the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He ITC Connect<\/strong> It takes place every year in Las Vegas<\/strong>, but this year it came to Miami<\/strong> for the first time to focus on the growing Latin American market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As Country Manager of Simpletech<\/a><\/strong> for Central America and the Caribbean and with the support of a great team from Uruguay, I was present with WittySuite<\/a><\/strong>, our interaction management suite that generated great interest among everyone who came to our stand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The place<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The event took place at the iconic Hotel Fontainebleau Miami Beach<\/strong>, where the main players in the insurance sector in Latin America and the United States met for 3 days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Networking<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The many spaces at the Fontainebleau Hotel served as a networking venue for a wide range of people from the insurance world. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The cocktail bar and the cafeteria were the favourites, but there were also "meeting zones<\/em>\u201d, where I had the opportunity to participate in meetings and network with companies in the region, including some of the most interesting insurtech companies of the moment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event had an APP that allowed you to schedule the people you interacted with during the networking days, as well as coordinate calls and meetings within the venue, which optimized time and allowed you to make the most of the new connections. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lots of contacts, lots of conversations, lots of information to process!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The speakers<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The main stage was attended by several key figures who touched on some of the issues that are setting the agenda in the sector.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I highlight the talk of Caribou horn<\/a><\/strong>, an industry expert, who spoke about current trends and predictions for the sector, with a disruptive view of the business, in which he talked about the incorporation of machine learning and artificial intelligence tools to increase accessibility and profitability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Simpletech at ITC<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Our goal at Simpletech has always been to apply innovation and the latest advancements in technology to improve people\u2019s experience, and this event allowed us to make connections with companies that share a mutual interest in benefiting their customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
