Bci Leader  Lider Bci is a Chilean company specializing in financial retail, offering accessible, convenient financial products and services tailored to its customers' needs. Its main product is the Lider Bci credit card, through which it also offers insurance, assistance, and various financing solutions, such as Avance, Super Avance, and others.

Bci Leader was born in 2018 from the alliance between Walmart Chile and Bci Bank, Rapidly consolidating nationwide with more than one million credit cards issued. With a strong commitment to digitalization, it offers digital cards, mobile payments, and a self-service app that simplifies and secures its customers' experience.

The priority of the Leading Insurance Broker Bci, as an integral part of the brand's financial ecosystem, was transform the WhatsApp channel in a real conversational and transactional experience. They were looking for a provider capable of offering intelligent automation, secure integration with their systems, and strategic support to empower their own team in workflow management.

Challenges & Solutions

CHALLENGE 1

As part of its continuous improvement strategy, Bci Leader identified the need to strengthen the experience within the WhatsApp channel, with the goal of boosting its efficiency and turning it into a more responsive and transactional point of contact. Prior to this transformation, the channel operated with another provider that limited the possibilities of offering conversational experiences. While it had predefined flows, these were static and quickly diverted the user to other environments (such as external links or human agents), which interrupted the continuity of the experience, hindered automated follow-up, and reduced conversion. The main challenge, then, was to evolve a functional channel into a truly Conversational, integrating greater automation, autonomy for the client and operational traceability.

SOLUTION

To carry out this transformation, Simpletech supported Lider Bci in the adoption of WittySuite, our conversation design and process automation platform. The project focused on two key areas:

  • Implementation of the WittySuite platform for digital SOAP contracting: We provide strategic advice, technical support and personalized training to the team of Bci Leader, allowing them to autonomously design and implement an intuitive and efficient conversational flow. This flow was integrated with their existing systems, ensuring secure, scalable, and frictionless operation.
  • Transforming the WhatsApp channel into a sales tool: Thanks to WittySuite, the channel of WhatsApp went from being a point of attention to becoming a transactional channel, where users can contract the SOAP Insurance completely digitally and in just a few steps.

Following implementation, Lider Bci's WhatsApp channel became a key conversion channel for SOAP contracting, achieving significant results:

We achieved 46% conversions within the WhatsApp channel, which represents 6 times more conversion than the traditional web channel.

The average time to complete a purchase was reduced from 5 minutes to just 2 minutes, significantly improving the user experience and facilitating rapid conversion, especially during periods of high demand.
