University of Montevideo, an institution that investigates the impact of the Uruguay Grows with You program of the Ministry of Development of Uruguay on its target audience.

Solution

A WittyBots chatbot was developed on WhatsApp, a messaging channel with high penetration in the affected population, to be able to carry out conversations and answer queries from the families involved.

In parallel, WittySend executes the periodic and sequential sending of messages. This communication flow was designed by the researchers. A protocol was designed to send three messages per week with a duration of 4 months.

CHALLENGE
In recent years, there has been an increase in the number of family referrals and applications for the Ministry of Social Development's Family Support Program. This increase has made personalized human attention a difficult challenge to keep up with.
SOLUTION
WittySuite is a conversational technology suite developed by Simpletech that includes a bot-builder (WittyBots) and a campaign sending platform (WittySend) in its product catalogue. Both tools are part of the research to facilitate remote support for families.
